London Real Business Accelerator BA19–2020
This course was by ALL means the BEST course I have taken in my adult life! London Real Business Accelerator Course by Brian Rose has taken me from camera shy to vlogging 2–3times a week.
The funny thing is what was a 45-minute motivational video via a mobile app I downloaded a few months ago turned into an eight week course that has taught me so much.
I struggled to maintain discipline and daily routines in my life for a long time. I believed it was because I was always so exhausted from hustling and living in survival mode to meet my bills and care for myself and my daughter, but the truth is, it was just an excuse not to be accountable for my actions and more so the results and consequences I endured for my lethargic behaviors.
I love to tell the story of when I struggled to get out of bed on a morning. I would take off the alarm and go back to sleep. Then I put the alarm away from the bed to force myself to literally get up but that didn’t work either. I would get off the bed turn off the alarm and go right back to bed. (I could laugh at myself now). Until I listened to the audio book Atomic Habits and decided to try a slightly different method. I woke up got off the bed took off the alarm and turned the light on. How amazing it was to have my eyes traumatized by the light. I left my room and went to the bathroom to wash my face and prepared for the day. Haven’t stopped to this day.
It was all because, one day a friend shared a mobile app with me called “Manifest Goals — Law of Attraction”. I downloaded it to my phone and completed the instructions to set up my goals, daily affirmations and vision board. Like a five year old I quickly got excited when I saw rewards for completing daily tasks and began immediately. I wanted full stars and positive compliments everyday.
As I began listening and viewing the podcasts and videos in the daily challenges I began to really take the app serious like it was my life coach. Eventually the star rewards and positive compliments didn’t matter. I began to apply the lessons learnt to my life and quickly saw changes, but it was that miraculous podcast show with Brian Rose interviewing James Clear (Author of Atomic Habits) that really blew my mind away!
The app only gave 30–45 minute videos just to motivate and encourage the viewer but that particular video gave the option to switch to Brian’s company website and view the entire interview and so I did! Upon entering the website I had to subscribe which I was not pleased with but figured it wouldn’t hurt to subscribe, view the full video and unsubscribe after. Well I was so inspired I didn’t unsubscribe and began receiving emails from Brian’s company, London Real.
I believe it was about 7–10 days later the email of the day included an introduction to the Business Accelerator Master Class, which I immediately signed up for. From there I booked a call to discuss joining the Full Business Accelerator Course. I was a bit skeptical thinking it could be a scam, but when Cathy Whitaker from the admin department called I was so excited.
Cathy and I chatted for 45-minutes and I have not regretted receiving that phone call. I took a loan, paid in full and began the course. I was so camera shy, social media shy and didn’t even have a facebook or instagram account. I knew about mailchimp but not how to use it. I knewhow to pay someone to build me a website but Brian and his team taught me how to build my own and saved me lots of money!
I now have a website I can control and manage on my own, facebook, instagram, twitter, linkedin, and youtube accounts that are very active! I have learnt how to setup webinars and enjoy doing them. My website has a blog section and soon will have my podcast shows as I launch in January 2021. Brian’s team is so amazing! They teach you everything you need to know when creating your digital business/products. They will even help you turn your physical business into an online business with even more sales!
It has been a wonderful journey making new friends and business partners. We learnt so much from each other and the support was always positive and healthy even the criticisms when they became necessary at times for learning. I have so much more I can say but I would type for a week!
If you are looking to start up a business or take your business to a higher level, the Business Accelerator Course is by far the BEST and quite frankly the ONLY course you should be taking to push you to your highest potential. The success stories are amazing but what I took away MOST of ALL was Extreme Ownership; being accountable for your actions. You have to apply what you learn. Don’t just soak it all up and store it away. A full jar of candy hidden away in a cupboard and no candy is basically the same thing.
